Unbound Fashion Show 2017

On April 14, 2017, creativity truly was Unbound in London.

Unbound 2017 – The Fanshawe College Fashion Design Program graduates debuted their final collections at the Norton Wolf School of Aviation Technology. I have attended this fashion show for the last five years and each time I am even more impressed with the inventiveness of the designers. There was a fairly equal mix of day wear and evening wear. My favourite day wear collection was designed by Michael Howard. The evening wear collection that had me on the edge of my seat, straining my neck, was that of Katie Simms, titled Etheral Beauty. The collections had a great mix of textures and colours, although white featured heavily amongst them. The biggest trend on the runway was the crop top – a trend I intend to forgo and leave for the braver.

Congrats to the Fanshawe College Fashion Design Program grads… looking forward to seeing your labels in stores soon.

The evening, which drew a crowd of 300 plus included a pre-show cocktail party and a New York-style runway show. Visit the #Unbound2017 on Instagram to see pictures and video clips.
