Dress for winter success in hi-tech cold weather lawyers (David Shellnut quoted)
Neither snow, nor sleet nor hail keeps cyclist David Shellnut off Toronto streets in the winter.
Year-round he pedals the 20 minutes to his job as a personal injury lawyer – and that included facing off with minus 20 Celsius temperatures last winter.
Shellnut, 33, dons layers, including a base layer, his shirt and tie, then a thin down layer for warmth, topped off with his leather jacket for wind resistance. He likes to keep things “sleek and streamline” so his efforts aren’t restricted.
