Court Claims Filed By Victims Of November 2021 Riverside Drive Collision – Lerners LLP Represents Plaintiffs
On Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 6:45 p.m., the lives of at least six London families were forever altered following a motor vehicle collision. What was an outing for a group of Brownies and their adult supervisors ended in tragedy. Alexandra Stemp, a young girl only 8 years old, succumbed to her injuries on December 1st. Twelve other individuals – children, adolescents and adults, were also injured as a result of the collision.
Lerners LLP represents several of the victims and their families in their claims against Petronella McNorgan and Gerald McNorgan (the driver, and owner, respectively) and a number of insurance carriers. Statements of claim were filed with the Ontario Superior Courthouse in London this week. These are civil claims seeking compensation for the damages suffered by the family of Alexandra Stemp whose life was cut tragically short, as well as for the other surviving victims of this accident and their families who have experienced significant injuries and losses.
