Congratulations Sandev Purewal On Becoming President-Elect Of The Ontario Trial Lawyers Association

Lerners is proud to announce that Sandev Purewal, a partner in our Toronto office, has become the President-Elect of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA).

Sandev is a personal injury lawyer whose practice is focused on serious personal injury matters, disability claims, and class actions. He also has experience in a wide range of civil and commercial litigation matters and is a skilled and effective advocate who takes a client-centred approach. Sandev has been a member of the OTLA Board of Directors since 2015 and became Vice President of OTLA for the 2022/2023 term. He will become the OTLA President-Elect in 2023/2024 and OTLA President in 2024/2025.

OTLA is an association of over 1400 lawyers, law clerks, and law students acting for plaintiffs. OTLA’s purpose is to promote access to justice, educate its members to uphold the highest standards of the legal profession, preserve and improve the civil justice system, and advocate for the rights of those who have suffered injury or losses as a result of the wrongdoing of others, while at the same time advocating for safety initiatives.
